A dream of a free independent Scotland in the 21st century is shattered by the British Establishment's fear of losing the revenue from the Scottish oil and gas fields. The British close down the Scottish Government's plans for a referendum on seperation of the Scottish nation from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

One man T D Campbell sets up The Umbrella Company to fund a private army to fight for independence. The company becomes involved in illegal drug importation, people smuggling and murder. The profits from the company make T D Campbell rich and powerful. He uses family members to run the operations and anyone who gets to close to this criminal empire has to die. The evil extends across the world to the streets of Britain, to Australian cities, and to the Golden Triangle. The Scottish Special Branch are closing in on the Company.
